The new Musso oozes toughness, drawing from SsangYong’s 60-year heritage as a leader in 4x4 vehicles. It’s a big, bold, beauty, with giant-sized muscles, a striking front-end that commands attention and dynamic character lines that sweep through to a graceful rear. Its luxurious interior offers comfort and tech that would befit a European SUV. The bold yet elegant exterior design flows from a rugged body-on-frame construction built with high-strength steel, sharing the same powerful platform as the award-winning SsangYong Rexton.
The interior of the New Musso offers a level of quality and comfort customers have come to expect from an SUV, rather than a Ute. The soft-textured nappa leather seats in the Ultimate version can be adjusted to three different firmness settings and are heated front and rear. There’s plenty of room to seat five passengers comfortably. It has excellent NVH levels too. Eight body mounts and polyester wheel-arch linings all help to reduce noise, vibration and harshness to reduce engine and road noise.
Smooth and composed on the road, rugged and surefooted off-road, strong and dependable when towing a load. Musso’s 133kW turbo-diesel engine provides 400Nm of pulling power, while selectable 4x4 with low range and electronic driver aids (Electronic Stability Program and Active Rollover Protection) keep you firmly in control on and off the road.
And with a healthy payload and 3.0-tonne towing capacity, Musso is ready to perform, whatever your business.
The Power To Pull, Whatever The Terrain
A real strength of the new Musso is its towing performance. An extremely strong ladder chassis enables the vehicle to provide a substantial towing platform. The vehicle is capable of towing a maximum 3,500 kilograms, putting the new Musso at the head of the class.
